Woodburn Missionary Church offers several short-term, cross-cultural missions trips around the world as well as domestic mission trips through out the US.

Go International, Adult Mission Trip 

This trip is in partnership with Jairo Ivan Gallindo Paz, local pastor and school principal in Puerto Castilla, Honduras. Ministry opportunities would include children's ministry, evangelism outreach, and a women's conference. Depending on skill sets and who is recruited for the team, we could also do a medical clinic, eye glasses, and construction. There would be opportunities to work in his community in Puerto Castilla as well as surrounding communities in the Trujillo area.

Who can go?  Adults 18 and older

When do we go? August 30- September 7

Where are we going? Trujillo, Honduras

How much?  Approximately $1530 plus airfare

Go International, Adult Mission Trip 

We will be working in partnership with a ministry in Como, Italy called Sinai Ministries. They do a lot of different types of outreach with refugees and Italians and one of these outreach opportunities is an English Summer Camp for kids from ages 6-16.

At camp, the kids that attend are involved in sports activities, arts and crafts, songs, English lessons, and so on. In addition, there are opportunities for these children to learn about Jesus every day through Bible stories in "Team Time." Many of the children that come are not believers. It's a busy week at camp but lots of fun!

Sinai Ministry is seeking English speaking volunteers. Volunteers lead/teach the activities at camp so each volunteer fills out a form to indicate where they would be interested in helping (water games, specific sports, songs, teaching English, arts & crafts, etc.).

Camp Nathanael, Adult Mission Trip

At Camp Nathanael, they pursue a variety of ministries to serve the spiritual needs of the people in Southeastern Kentucky.

Summer Trip - Teams will assist with clean up, construction, and repairs to homes.

Fall Trip - Teams will assist with outdoor education (crafts, teaching, etc.) for up to 225 public school students, helping them learn about Jesus.
